Introduction/Company Background (2 marks)

Scope (2 marks)

This is where you will outline the activity data that you chose to include and categorize those activities into the three (3) different scopes.

·         Briefly explain what Scope 1 to 3 mean

·         Where the facility you are auditing is located

·         The year of data that you are looking at

Emission Factors and Global Warming Potentials (5 marks)

Provide an overview of what EFs and GWPs are and why you need them in your audit (explain in a couple of sentences). Include a list/table of the EFs and GWPs that were used in your carbon audits. Include where you found the EFs and GWPs (where to find these is included in your lecture notes) – you can list these in the appendix if you like as well.

Inventory (10 marks)

This is where you will show the results of your audit. You can include any information that you think provides a good snapshot of the organization’s carbon footprint. In this section you can include any calculations that you used, explain any assumptions that you had to make with the data, and graphs/tables.

Conclusion (6 marks)

Provide any recommendations to help your organization to lower its carbon footprint or make improvements to its existing program.

Summarize your audit to wrap up the report.
