Objective 3: Formulate human services project ideas for your final project.

Think about the many needs that fall under the banner of human services. Despite our best efforts to date, there are individuals who still need services but cannot get them, and communities who do not function well. There are various types of human services organizations; some tend to legal and victims assistance matters, others to public safety and disaster relief, food and nutrition, housing and shelter, and much more. As many of us know, there are rather large gaps in these services, and needs are going unmet. For your Final Project, you will choose a project and develop it – on paper. Think about the community in which you live or another one you are familiar with, and identify some types of gaps in delivery of services or needed skill-building, etc.
