As one option for extra credit in the course, students can complete the YouTube Assignment. Students should find videos (must be different from those shown in class) on YouTube or similar open platform that demonstrate a social psychological principle or concept discussed in class and complete the assignment template.

To complete the assignment:

If the video appropriately relates to social psychology and the explanation is satisfactory, then you will receive .5 points of extra credit. You can do the assignment for a maximum of 4 YouTube videos corresponding to a total extra credit opportunity of up to 2 points.

NOTE that you can only get a maximum of 2 points extra credit BETWEEN research participation and YouTube videos. (For example, you can do 2 video reviews and 1 hour of research credit or any other combination, not to exceed 2 points.)
