We now return to the propositions proposed by Existentialism, and most specifically, to Proposition #4.  As you reflect on this proposition, think also about how important it might be for the counselor to know what gives meaning to the client’s life.

• Read pp. 146-154 of the textbook by Corey.

• Consider Proposition 4 (“the search for meaning”).  

• Prepare to write a 1-page double-spaced assignment in which you answer the question: How, as a Christian, might you explain to an Existentialist what gives you meaning in life?
