explore brain disease and injuries that impact learning and memory.  One of the diseases discussed was Alzheimer’s disease.  According to the Alzheimer’s Association approximately 5.5 million people in America are currently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.  Of these 5.5 million people, 5.3 million people are over the age of 65.
