The process you've described for employees at your job to request and sign for a mobile phone meets the definition of a process, which is a set of specified steps to accomplish task. The listed tasks are considered a process because you've listed the necessary steps that the employee as well as yourself need to take in order to accomplish the overall mission.
The user requirements support the process described. Your requirements for the system follow the requirements statement guidelines. Your system requirements are achievable and realistic. It provides readers with an idea of the exact actions for the system in order to document and process requests for a mobile phone. (UMGC, 2021)
The user requirement I would tweak is number (3) to read, "The system must provide an editable document for requestors to input information of mobile phone request." Number (3) was the only user requirement that did not for a complete sentence with the subject of "the system" followed by a system action.
The action of user requirements are easy to navigate and understand in order for the system to be developed to support your business' needs.

Aloha,
I agree that this meets the definition of a process. There are specific steps that one must do in order to complete the task of ordering a phone. With the current manual process, it seems like there could be a lot of back and forth between you and the person needing the phone. If they don’t know the information that is required to obtain the phone a head of time, they may not include that in their email. Implementing these system requirements will make it a more efficient and streamline process with less back and forth saving time and potential frustration for you and the employee.
The requirements you have listed fit the definition of user requirements because you are saying what you need the system to do in order to complete the task. They are easy to follow and understand. You have stated exactly what you need the system to do in order to complete the task of getting a new phone.
The requirement I would adjust would be the 3rd requirement. In this requirement you didn’t address what you need the system to do. I would change the requirement to read: The system must allow the form the be edited for the following required fields: employee name, type of phone needed, account to be billed and supervisor authorization.
You did a Great job of explaining the current process, why it needs improving and what you would want the system to do to make your job of helping employees get their phones easier. Do you think that your company will be able to make these changes?
