Try to explain salvation to someone of a different religious view is challenging. I have had conversation with both Catholic and Mormon coworkers who believe a lot of the same things as us. But the way we do or do not get to Heaven is tricky. Both conversations were at work and were good, I just found that I am not a very good teacher. It is not my spiritual gift. I was trying to explain how all you need is grace through faith and to accept Jesus-in one as your Lord to be saved that it did not matter about your works. But don’t Christians do good works? Yes. But good works are not what gets you to Heaven. Then came the topic of free will. We went round and round a bit about those topics Good conversation but I found it very hard to explain all of it because it can’t be. God has a love for us and frees us from sin and it is unexplainable.
