Over the centuries, Christian theologians have debated, argued and differed on how to interpret aspects of biblical doctrine.  Various theories of the person of Christ have been proposed since the earliest apologists were writing and defending the Christian faith.  Even as we review these views, it’s important to keep our eyes and mind open for the truth of what we now consider the union of the two natures of Christ.

• Write a 3 page paper comparing and contrasting various views of the person of Christ. Ensure the following points are addressed:
  • A definition of the word “incarnation” and what it means in the life of Jesus.
  • An explanation of what it means for Christ to have a unity of two natures, including the terminology used for this concept.
  • A discussion of at least 3 erroneous views of the person of Christ, and why they are in error.
  • Supporting Scripture and at least two quality sources are included.
