In essence, this Workshop discusses leadership at its highest and most influential level, which is leading change in an entire organization and effectively communicating change.  You may not be currently engaged in leadership at this high level, but hopefully seeing the furthest reaches of leadership responsibilities will prepare you to evaluate where you are at now as a leader and where you can improve your leadership skills.    This paper will have you consider your own leadership, as well as the development of leaders within an organization.

• Write a 3 page paper addressing the following points.
  • What are ways that you can develop your leadership skills?
  • What have you learned about your past leadership experiences that help reveal both your strengths and weaknesses in leadership?  How could some of the techniques discussed that could help you grow in your weak areas?
  • Biblical leadership is first and foremost about heart attitudes.  What changes in your heart do you think would need to be addressed for you to be a more biblical leader in your job, your church, etc.?
  • Based upon what you’ve learned from the required reading from this week, what are some components that you would include in a church’s leadership training program?  Discuss each component with enough detail to demonstrate why it is important.
• Ensure that you have at least two scholarly resources to support your writing.
