Objective: Describe the ecological model and analyze how it can produce effective solutions to the problems and social issues a case manager may experience in the field.

In working with other people, human service professionals apply the ecological model to develop a broad understanding of the individuals who seek help. This model looks at the individual person in the person’s context.
