Have a virtual (or visit in-person) the Memphis Brooks Museum of Arts and write a standard essay that expresses your experience. Choose, describe and discuss one particular work of art pertaining to a period we have discussed in class (i.e. Egyptian or African art). For a virtual visit, an image (preferably from the museum’s webpage) must be attached on a separate page with your paper. Try to incorporate concepts you have learned in class. If visiting in person, take a picture of the art work, then print and attach a copy of it with your paper.
