Helping clients become sober is a challenge but helping them change addictive behaviors can be even more of a feat. Many clients believe just staying clean is enough and they do not have to change their friends or their lifestyle. Research shows that unless a recovering person changes their behavior and lifestyle, they will never stay sober.
