Hi Jeramie,
I find it very interesting that Barth did not consider the Trinity as a personhood, yet still believed "the one being of God is never to be considered in itself, for God is the Father, the Son, and the Spirit" (Letham, 2004, p. 283). It is strange to me that he thought viewing the Trinity as three persons to be heretical, while his view to me seems to diminish the Trinity. It seems that his focus on the oneness of God overshadowed his pursuit of truly understanding the Trinity. Would you agree with this?
