Two great essays for you to read to which you will write short, one-paragraph-minimum responses to submit.  It seems that most of you are getting quite a bit from the essays; I spent a great deal of time in selecting the most useful ones for the college-level/professional writers that you all are and must be; if anyone ever happens to scan the online texts and finds another that you think worth sharing, please let me know.
