Review instructor’s notes – Section I thru III, readings in Week 2 and 4. 

Go to the Louisiana Legislature’s Website and find a law related to Children, child abuse, relationship between child and parents, children and third parties for example teachers.  Discuss how the law fits into the categories listed in Section III of the instructor’s notes.  Your response must include all categories in that section; for example, is the law substantive –  explain how it impose a duty, accord a right, or grant a power.  Is the law procedure, explain what makes it procedural? Is it public and/or private?

Be sure to cite the law; for example, if the law is found in the Children’s Code, then cite it as LA CHC 000 or if it is a Revised Statue, LA R.S. 00:105
