I wanted to take a moment to better explain the required 1,200 words for the Unit One complete assignment. The assignment is to draft a research proposal that includes research questions, hypothesis, null hypothesis, and the research design. What you see on the example page noted in the textbook (pp. 114-118) for Unit One, is an outline. Your research proposal will be in a narrative format, using the headings outlined on the example in the textbook. You will write sentences and paragraphs under each heading (research questions, hypothesis, null hypothesis, and research design / data collection), explaining each section of the research proposal. I'm not looking for an outline, but instead a narrative discussion using an outline to describe your proposed research project.

The minimum word requirement is 1,200 words, which should be easily met if you research and support your discussion under each heading with scholarly references, as required.
