Question

Based on our readings and the PPTs, you'll by now see that based on the science of evolutionary biology, backed by the fossil and DNA evidence, that our common humanity owes a great dept to Africa.

In fact, both the fossil evidence and mDNA, indicated not only are we all ancestors to one another, but that modern humans and older fossil hominids all began their journal from the continent of Africa.

Given that our connectedness is deep, that our human story begins hundreds of thousands of years ago (if not millions), how would you convince someone who is skeptical of all the evidence for our evolution to rethink their position?

If you are a skeptic or actually know someone who is, please give reasons why you/they feel that evolutionary science does not persuade your beliefs.

We of course have to acknowledge that evolutionary science (as seen in the readings) does conflict with religious versions of how humans came into existence.
