Since this is our third and final report, you will need to incorporate at least 5 peer-reviewed journal articles (cannot be a required course reading). 

Since this report is about the skill choice/home skill, so you will be using the data that you have collected! 

The following are the instructions for the Skill Choice Report:

1. Must be in APA style! (double-space, 12-pt font, etc.)

2. This report should be 5 to 8 pages - this does not include the title page, abstract, or reference page.

3. Content of the paper:

  • Abstract
  • Introduction
    • Including: Background of topic, review of other studies, and ending with aims of study
  • Method
    • Including:  materials, and procedures - be very detailed here! Remember, we're asking ourselves "Can someone replicate my study with the information provided?"
  • Results
    • Including:  (mean, SD, SE, etc.), correlation results, any other stats run, and graphs as I discussed in class. You may not need to do any comparisons of groups here if you are just looking at your progress on your skill across these few weeks. So bar graphs, scatterplot and correlation may be the most appropriate statistics.
  • Discussion
    •  Including: overall summary of study, comparison to literature/journal article, implications, limitations, and conclusion - all components must be included!
  • References
    • In APA format!
